Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Question:

Who is the President of the Association?

Answer:

All current Officers and Committee assignments are listed on the Contacts page of this website.

Question:

What are the pending improvements to our road surfaces?

Answer:

VDOT seals the road surface cracks and makes improvements to certain drainage culverts and  shoulder areas that required attention.  However, VDOT has been very frank and told the Board that due to State budget constraints, any repaving work is not likely to be done this year or next.

Question:

Who owns and maintains our roads?

Answer:

Our roads are owned and maintained by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).  From repaving, fixing potholes, mowing roadsides, replacing traffic lights, and plowing snow and treating roads for winter weather, you can report these items to VDOT directly by calling 703-383-VDOT (8368).  However, please keep in mind that VDOT works to clear highways and primary roads first and then clears secondary and tertiary streets as they are able.
